available Secure and dependable
adaptive computing
Starting as soon as possible, we are seeking PhD
candidates to work on
- Adaptive secure clock synchronization
- Trusted operations on untrusted clients (Client
trust concepts)
- Software partitioning between client and smart
card
- Adaptive middleware
in the context of a national research project.
The ideal candidate holds a master degree
in Computer Science or
related fields, is able to consider both conceptual and
practical/implementation aspects in her/his work.
Preferably, s/he has a background in one of the
following fields:
- Software engineering
- Distributed systems
- Security and dependability
The full-time position (40 hours per week) is for a
time period of 2 years, the salary is competitive,
lecturing is optional. The successful candidate will
further benefit from the project's cooperation with a
dynamic and growing industrial partner in the finance
application domain.
